The FPLA and ACC are formed to protect the interest of and benefit the cabin owners while working in conjunction to enforce the Covenants.

Preserving, Protecting & Promoting Fort Peck Lake

FPLA exists to serve the best interests of the property owners in the four designated cabin areas around Fort Peck Lake, located in Valley, Garfield, and McCone Counties. We support responsible development, uphold the integrity of our community through governance and oversight, and foster collaboration among cabin owners for the long-term benefit of all.

What We Do

Governance & Representation

The FPLA is led by a 12-member Board of Directors, with three directors elected from each of the four cabin areas. This structure ensures fair and equal representation for every community.

Architectural Control Committee (ACC)

Also composed of 12 elected members, the ACC serves as the Board of Adjustment and is empowered to grant minor variances to specific Covenants, helping maintain harmony while accommodating the evolving needs of cabin owners.

Covenant Enforcement & Community Standards

FPLA and the ACC are jointly empowered to enforce the Covenants that govern the community, helping to maintain the quality and appearance of the neighborhoods.

Financial Stewardship

FPLA has the authority to assess fees to fund the association’s operational needs, including compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as the ongoing administration of the Covenants.
